How to Require Users to Register

Home Junction offers a few different ways to require a user to register on your site.  You can find the different options below.

Home Value

The Home Value plugin offers an option to require users to register on the site before they can view their home valuation results. You can turn this on by going to your dashboard menu and navigating to HJI Home Value. On the Home Value Settings page, check the Teaser with Registration box and Save Changes.

Responsive IDX

The Responsive IDX plugin offers an option to require users to register on the site after viewing a certain amount of properties. You can turn this option on by going to your dashboard menu and navigating to Responsive IDX. On the Responsive IDX page, click on the User Registration tab and then check the boxes for "User Registration Prompt", "Require Phone Number" and "Require User Registration". You can also set the number of listings that can be viewed before the user is required to register. Click the Save Changes button when you're done, and you're all set.

Require Registration on Pages/Posts

It is possible to force a website user to register an HJI Users account before viewing a page or post.

Adding the shortcode [require_registration] to the content of any page or post will trigger that Login/Register modal to appear when the page is loaded, and the user will be unable to exit the modal without registering.
