Self-Install - Quick Start Guide

Who Should Use This Guide

If you are familiar with the WordPress Dashboard and have installed and configured plugins in the past, this guide is for you. Otherwise, we strongly recommend to reach out to our Tech Support team for assistance.

Note: Classic Editor and Classic Widgets are currently required prerequisites to using our

Before You Begin

1. BACKUP your website
2. Confirm your site is running on PHP 7.1 or above (7.4 is preferred)
3. Have your Home Junction License Key handy
4. Install Classic Editor and Classic Widgets plugins

Download to your Local Drive

1. HJI Membership plugin
2. HJI Forms JSON file (to import into Gravity Forms)
3. Gravity Forms plugin (if not already installed on your site)

Installation

1. Install HJI Membership plugin
2. Configure your License Key via HJI Membership >> License Key menu
3. Update Membership to the latest version if one is available via Dashboard >> Updates menu
4. Install Gravity Forms  plugin (if not already installed on your site)
5. Import HJI Forms JSON file via Forms >> Import/Export >> Import Forms menu
6. Install additional HJI plugins via HJI Membership >> Product Library menu

Configuration

Responsive IDX

1. Create & publish a blank page titled Search Results. It will serve as IDX search results placeholder.
2. Configure the Search Results Page via Responsive IDX settings menu by selecting the newly created search results page.
3. Configure inquiry forms by entering this shortcode [gravityform id=4 ajax=true] into the Listing Inquiry and Schedule Showing form fields. The form ID within each shortcode has to match their corresponding gravity form, which is listed under Forms >> Forms the menu.

Home Value

1. Create a new page titled Home Valuation. Insert home value shortcode [home_value_form] and publish the page.
2. Create another page titled Request CMA. Insert CMA inquiry form by clicking Add Form button, and select HJI Home Value: Request CMA from the forms selection list. Publish the page.
3. Optionally, feel free to use this CMA definition content on your page above the CMA inquiry form.
4. Navigate to HJI Home Value settings page.
5. Set the Search Results Page option to the newly created Home Valuation page as well as CMA Landing Page to Request CMA respectively.
6. Check all the boxes and click save.

Flush Permalinks

1. Navigate to Settings >> Permalinks options page.
2. If you haven’t set your permalinks structure, we recommend selecting the Post name option.
3. Regardless of your settings, SAVE the options to set the HJI plugins’ link structure into effect.
