How do I add a new Geofarm?
If you have not yet done so, please contact your assigned project manager to schedule a training session on adding your own Geo Farms. It is highly recommended to go through this process with a project manager as it is very detail oriented and they will be able to answer any questions you have along the way.
Before you start adding a new Geofarm, make sure you have already created a new SpatialMatch map for the area. It is also recommended to have gone over or be familiar with adding Lifestyle Finder, adding Recent Sales, and adding Responsive IDX.
Add a new Geofarm
Locate Geo Farms on the left sidebar. Click on "Add New."
The first steps in setting up your own Geofarm is to add the title, neighborhood info (optional), and then select the correct area under "Area Map." See the image below for a visual guide.
The next step is to add the content to the individual tabs. Scroll down and you will see the Tabs section. Leave Tab 1 blank.
For Tab 2, type in "Interactive Map Search" for the name. Below that, click on the very last icon in the shape of a house, the SpatialMatch icon. Select your SpatialMatch map that you have already created and press okay to add it. For width, type in " 100%" and for height, type in "650px".
For Tab 3, type in "Area Info." For the shortcode section, please refer to our Adding Lifestyle Finder to a Page or Geofarms guide for a more detailed explanation on how to add the Lifestyle Finder shortcode.
For Tab 4, type in "Recent Sales" for the name. Click on the 4th icon from the left, the Recent Sales shortcode generator. For a more detailed explanation, please see our Adding Recent Sales guide.
And finally, the last step is to add Responsive IDX. Scroll down to the very bottom of the page. You will see a section called "Featured Listings." Click on the second icon, the Responsive IDX shortcode generator. Fill in the form appropriately and click on "Insert" to add the shortcode.
Once you are done adding the content, scroll back up to the top. On the right hand side, press on "Publish" to add your new Geofarm.
